1: 1925 photograph of the Morrow Retail Store in Burke, Idaho.

2: 2010 photograph of the same building in what remains of Burke, Idaho.

Burke was once a thriving silver mining town, it is now a ghost town in rural Idaho just north of Wallace. Mining buildings and a few structures from the town still remain.

(Editor’s note: I have been to this ghost town and it is just as spooky and awesome as you might think. It reminded me a lot of that Silent Hill movie, especially how it referenced Centralia, PA.)
