Did you know that Bill Fagerbakke, the voice of Patrick Star on Spongebob Squarepants, went to the University of Idaho? It’s true!
Before becoming an actor, Fagerbakke attended the University of Idaho, where he played as a defensive lineman for the Vandals, who went 7-4 in 1976 with Bill’s help. A knee injury ended his athletic career and turned his focus to theater. Fagerbakke was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity and graduated in 1981.
Fagerbakke is best known for his portrayal of Michael “Dauber” Dybinski on the sitcom Coach and for his long-running role as the voice of Patrick Star. (source)
