“The Walk” was a tradition held between WSU and UI students. Former rivals, every year the Vandals and the Cougars would meet and battle for victory. The losing team’s students would team walk (or run) to the winning team’s campus. The walkers would then be given cookies, hot drinks, and warm foot washes by the victorious team’s students.  Student body and university presidents both took part in the tradition. - Jordan
